Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location:
Greater London (preferred), or Essex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire
Our client is looking for an experienced Industrial / Commercial Door Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who can work independently as the primary Industrial Door Engineer across the South East.
Benefits- £42,000 - £45,000 salary
- 45-hour salaried contract
- Overtime available (single & double time rates)

- Installation, servicing, fault finding, repairs and upgrades of:
Roller shutters - Installation, servicing, fault finding, repairs and upgrades of:
Sectional doors - Installation, servicing, fault finding, repairs and upgrades of:
High-speed doors - Installation, servicing, fault finding, repairs and upgrades of:
Smoke & fire curtains - Installation, servicing, fault finding, repairs and upgrades of:
Steel security and escape doors - Installation, servicing, fault finding, repairs and upgrades of:
Control panels, key switches and battery back-up units - Installation, servicing, fault finding, repairs and upgrades of:
Door closers - Installation, servicing, fault finding, repairs and upgrades of:
Panic hardware, locks and maglocks
- Proven industrial/commercial door engineering experience
- Gate Safe, DHF or equivalent competency
- PASMA & IPAF certified
- Working at Height & Manual Handling trained
- Excellent IT skills and experience using PDA/mobile reporting systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to produce detailed service reports and identify replacement parts
- Experience with:
Dock levellers & shelters - Experience with:
Automatic doors - Experience with:
Gates, barriers & access control - Experience with:
Speed lanes - Experience with: UPVC strip curtains & crash doors
- Knowledge of welding, PUWER, LOLER, Health & Safety legislation and dynamic risk assessments would be advantageous
