Project Assistant

Smithfield, NC (Full-Time | In-Office | Local)

Ameri Mex Drywall, LLC is a growing commercial drywall and metal framing contractor based in Smithfield, NC. We work on commercial and multifamily projects throughout the area and are building a strong internal team to support our continued growth.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual who wants to build a long-term career in construction operations.

This is an entry-level position with training provided and a clear path toward Estimator and Project Management roles for the right candidate.

This is an in-office position. We are not offering remote work or visa sponsorship at this time.

The Project Assistant will support our estimating and project management team. The majority of this role involves working on a computer reviewing construction plans, performing quantity takeoffs, organizing project documentation, and helping prepare bid proposals.

This role is ideal for someone who:

You will receive hands‑on training in construction estimating, project setup, and internal operations.

• Review construction drawings and specifications
• Perform digital quantity takeoffs
• Enter quantities into Excel‑based estimating templates

  As you grow in the role, additional responsibilities may include increased estimating responsibility and involvement in project coordination.
