Business Systems Analyst

A growing company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to help drive data-driven decision-making across the business. This role will serve as a key partner to Finance, Operations, Sales, and other functional teams by developing reporting solutions, improving business processes, and enhancing the organization’s use of data and technology.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of business operations and financial data to include exposure to accounting, ERP systems, financial reporting, or operational analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support operational and financial decision-making.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers across multiple functional areas.
• Support ERP optimization efforts, including reporting enhancements, system improvements, and user support.
• Ensure data integrity through validation, quality assurance, and standardized reporting processes.
• Create ad hoc analyses and executive reporting to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging reporting, business intelligence, and automation tools that enhance organizational capabilities.
• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and other technology-related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business systems, business intelligence, financial systems, reporting, or data analytics.
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.

Determining compensation for this role at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
