- $ 17.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30am)
- Assist with purchasing and procurement, including placing orders and processing purchase order receipts.
- Work closely with the Buyer to learn purchasing processes and provide coverage as needed.
- Close completed work orders by entering materials, labor/time, and inventory transfers accurately.
- Coordinate shipments of parts to outside vendors, including plating and heat-treating suppliers, and maintain required documentation.
- Utilize computer systems to track orders, materials, work orders, and related purchasing documentation while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail, particularly when working with orders, inventory, and documentation.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Friendly, professional, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with coworkers and outside vendors.
- Must be interested in a long-term career opportunity and committed to learning the position with the goal of eventually assuming full purchasing responsibilities.
