Role: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) (Part-Time)
Responsibilities- Provide patient care aligned with nursing theories and concepts, ensuring documentation meets reimbursement guidelines.
- Coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel at all levels.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and quality reviews.
- Current RN licensure in the practice state.
- Graduation from an approved nursing program with at least two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Preference for at least one year of hospice nursing experience.
- Knowledge of home health and hospice care frameworks, nursing practices, policies, procedures, and reimbursement guidelines.
- Commitment to ongoing education, including 12 hours of continuing education annually.
- CPR certification.
- Travel as needed, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Engagement in team meetings and quality assurance activities.
- Background checks and a drug-free workplace environment are required.
