Maintenance Technician B-Crew _F-S_

Overview

To ensure all plant processing and facilities equipment are running at optimum efficiency on a daily basis.

• Maintain and repair processing equipment.
• Maintain and repair facilities equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on processing and plant equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical troubleshooting.
• Communicate and document work performed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or asked of by management.

• Must demonstrate Journeyman level competence in all the above trade skills.
• Manage and perform projects independently.
• Mentor Maintenance Mechanic 1 levels.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent aptitude and demonstrated experience in the following trades required:
  • Mechanical repair
  • Fundamental electrical 24V to 480V troubleshooting, repair and installation
  • Working knowledge of PLCs. Servo motors/drives, AC/DC variable speed frequency drives
  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Plumbing/pipe fitting
  • Welding and fabricating
  • Machine tool
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Facilities maintenance

• Experience in repairing high-speed processing and paper converting equipment is preferred.
• License or certificates in any of the below trades is required:
  • Electrical installations, troubleshooting and repair 24V-480V
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  • Welding and fabrication
