CAPS Australia, a division of the global powerhouse Ingersoll Rand, is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our Sydney team. With a proud history dating back to 1980 and a national footprint of ten branches, CAPS is a trusted name in delivering innovative compressed air and power generation solutions to industrial and manufacturing clients across Australia.
About the RoleThis hands-on role involves the mechanical repair, overhaul, and maintenance of compressed air equipment and associated products. You'll be part of a supportive team, delivering professional and timely service to our valued customers across a variety of industries.
General Tasks include:
- Servicing and repairing air compressors and diesel generators with a focus on electrical systems
- Fault-finding and responding to breakdowns at customer sites
- Performing preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to recommend system improvements
- Identify improvements & communicate these to our customers and team.
You will have the opportunity to work on a large range of air compressors and power generators where every day is different. We can train and develop your technical knowledge to work expertly and independently on Air Compressors and Generators.
