A public-sector organization is seeking a Business Office Specialist to support benefits and leave administration on a temporary basis through June. This role is primarily focused on FMLA and benefits coordination, with some light accounting-related responsibilities.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday Fully onsite Key Responsibilities Manage and administer FMLA and employee leave processes Support benefits enrollment and ongoing benefits administration Assist employees with questions related to benefits and leave programs Perform health insurance reconciliations Handle COBRA billing and related processes Provide light support for accounting functions (AP/AR as needed) Qualifications 3+ years of experience in benefits administration and/or leave management Strong understanding of FMLA and employee benefits processes Intermediate Excel skills required Experience in a public sector or K-12 education environment is a plus Familiarity with Tyler Technologies or similar systems is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information If you are interested in this role email me at
