Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in utility and gas projects, and will be responsible for coordinating all on-site activities and managing project teams effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders on project status and any issues that arise.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members are trained in safety procedures.
• Manage project budgets and ensure that expenditures are within budgetary constraints.
• Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction, facilitating communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications include:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Prior experience with utility and gas construction projects is essential and required.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with various stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or safety (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
