Content Host – Content Studio

J&R Marketing is seeking a confident, engaging, and business-savvy Content Host to join our growing Content Studio team. This is a unique opportunity to step in as an on-camera personality who interviews Rhode Island business owners, leads podcast-style conversations, and helps create short-form marketing content that showcases real people and real stories.

• Serve as the on-camera host for video content filmed in our Content Studio (Smithfield, RI)
• Conduct engaging Q&A interviews, short-form content sessions, and podcast-style conversations with local business owners and professionals
• Help clients feel confident, comfortable, and conversational on camera
• Use provided notes and talking points to guide each session — and bring your own creative voice where appropriate
• Be part of shaping an evolving library of segments, themes, and branded series for J&R and our clients

• Comfortable and natural on camera — a strong communicator with a calm, friendly, and professional presence
• Knowledgeable in business and marketing – you don’t need to be an expert in every area, but you should understand how to talk about brands, marketing, and business in a relatable way
• Great at reading the room — knowing when to ask the next question, when to pause, and how to get the best out of a guest
• Able to guide a conversation while still making the other person shine
• Local to Rhode Island and familiar with its people, communities, and business culture
• Reliable, punctual, and confident giving light direction to ensure great takes

• Have ties to the Rhode Island business community
• Have experience in podcasting, journalism, public speaking, or acting
• Are comfortable in a creative agency environment
• Have a sense of humor, curiosity, and strong personal brand

This is a contract-based role
, with compensation based on session type, length, and experience

Flexible scheduling – typically during business hours

You’ll be working with our internal team, including Project Managers and Media Specialists, who will help prep and support each session

Most content is filmed at our Smithfield, RI studio

We are looking for 1–2 individuals (ideally one male and one female) to represent the face and foundation of our content series
