• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (applicable to elementary grades)
• Experience teaching students with intellectual disabilities strongly preferred

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including with paraprofessionals and other team members

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and differentiated support to elementary students in a self-contained environment
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Work closely with families, support staff, and related service providers to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records, including assessments and documentation of goals
• Promote positive behaviors and social-emotional growth within the classroom community
