Permanent Intensive Special Education Teacher position available at Raymond
C. LaPerche Elementary School.
- RIDE certification in Teacher of students with intellectual disabilities
- Provides instruction and support to a class of 4 students in collaboration with paraprofessionals and specialized support professionals.
- Develops, coordinates and implements curriculum that aligns with the Essential Elements for ELA & Math.
- Collects, analyzes and prepares data to inform instruction and share with colleagues and parents.
- Works collaboratively as part of the special education team.
- Demonstrates and models best practices in students with intellectual disabilities.
- Collaborates with outside agencies, school personnel and parents for the purpose of identification of students having a disability.
