This full-time position supports grades 3rd-5th in a self-contained classroom setting, working with students with moderate to severe needs. Qualifications:
- Active Rhode Island Special Education License is required
- Experience teaching special education, preferably in a self-contained classroom
- Dedication to supporting students with moderate to severe needs in elementary grades
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for team-driven environments
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction for students in grades 3rd-5th
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom that encourages student growth
- Implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with families and other education professionals
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress
