• Provides instruction and support to a class of 4 students in collaboration with paraprofessionals and specialized support professionals.
• Develops, coordinates and implements curriculum that aligns with the Essential Elements for ELA & Math.
• Collects, analyzes and prepares data to inform instruction and share with colleagues and parents.
• Works collaboratively as part of the special education team.
• Demonstrates and models best practices for students with intellectual disabilities.
• Collaborates with outside agencies, school personnel and parents to identify students having a disability.

In addition to the general education program, LaPerche also includes an intensive special education and intensive resource elementary level programs for the district.
