• velop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills tailored to toddlers' developmental stages
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management
• Engage children in hands-on activities that support early intervention strategies and foster cognitive and motor skill development
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation of each child's growth, behavior, and learning activities in compliance with mandated reporting laws
• Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions to ensure safety and comfort
• Cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, deep cleaning)

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings or similar environments with toddlers preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention techniques
• Strong classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management strategies
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education tailored for young children
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively
• Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is highly valued
• Ability to work within mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations
• Experience teaching physical education or implementing Montessori methods is a plus but not required
