Senior Geotechnical Engineer

• Site Classification Leadership:
  Review and sign off on Lot/Site Classification reports, ensuring compliance with NSW and QLD standards while delivering unmatched quality.
• Geotechnical Reporting:
  Perform and manage a wide range of geotechnical work, including geotechnical site assessments, slope stability, contamination assessments, pavement design, level 1 compaction, Footing inspections and more.
• Team Development:
  Provide technical support to Site Investigators, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety. Valuing feedback and openness to help the organisation improve while upholding professional integrity.
• Innovation & Expansion:
  Propose new geotechnical services to add to our suite of work, while exploring accreditation opportunities to broaden your skill set.
• Laboratory Oversight:
  Maintain NATA accreditation, interpret lab results, and ensure high standards across all testing protocols.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 7+ years of geotechnical engineering expertise, with demonstrated ability to sign off on reports, undertake field work and competent in soil and core logging.
• Qualifications:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field. NER and RPEQ accreditation. CPEng accreditation will be viewed favourably.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong report writing skills alongside strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effectively applying geotechnical principles to deliver practical solutions for our clients.
• Competency:
  
  A track record of delivering high-quality work while managing large-scale geotechnical and civil projects.
