We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems and components. This role will drive projects from initial concept through production while providing technical expertise, solving complex engineering challenges, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on electrical engineering professional with strong experience in circuit design, system development, testing, and product improvement. This individual will serve as a technical leader, mentor junior engineers, and help deliver reliable, high‑performance products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components for new and existing products.
- Provide technical leadership and serve as a subject matter expert for electrical engineering projects.
- Partner with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product integration.
- Manage engineering projects, timelines, deliverables, and technical requirements.
- Develop test plans, perform simulations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and validate designs through prototyping and laboratory testing.
- Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), test reports, and design specifications.
- Identify opportunities to improve product reliability, manufacturability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Support and mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure designs meet applicable regulatory standards and support certification processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design, product development, or related engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Experience using electrical design and simulation tools such as Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, PSpice, or similar platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with electrical testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and independently solve technical challenges.
- Knowledge of electrical industry standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Experience with PCB layout, high‑speed design, and signal integrity.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, FPGA design, or embedded firmware development.
- Experience with automation, robotics, renewable energy, industrial systems, or complex electromechanical products.
- Background in reliability engineering, DFMEA, or design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward certification.
