Staff Accountant

Overview

We're looking for an energetic and skilled Accountant to join our Finance team!

As an Accountant for Esler Companies | Renewal by Andersen you'll be responsible for performing the day-to-day finance and accounting activities. You'll work with Sales and Operations to process job closeout and run customer finance as needed.

• Performs day to day accounting functions for King of Prussia region focusing on accounts receivable collections, cash reporting and certain aspects of payroll.
• Assists in preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, financial reports and monthly close processes.
• Works closely with Controller and Finance team to maintain consistent practices across finance, and continuously strives for process improvement.
• Supports General Manager, salesforce, and operational teams to deliver world class customer service.
• Working closing with the Operations and Sales teams to get deposits and final payments processed.
• Support other ad hoc projects and requests as necessary.

• Experience with Quick Books, or other financial software.
• Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Excellent communication and phone skills.
• A positive attitude with the ability to multi-task.
• Flexible and resilient to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and changing business conditions.
• A strong value system, excellent judgement, and unquestioned integrity.
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Accounting/Finance.
• Generally requires payroll experience. 3-5 years related private experience; 2-4 years public experience.
