Smithfield Police Department is seeking a part-time Dispatcher for weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM), about 15 hours a week. Duties include receiving citizen requests for assistance and providing radio dispatch services to police units.
Responsibilities include initiating deployment of personnel and equipment as needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential; MS Word proficiency is required or preferred.
