Qualifications &

Experience:

• Valid and active School Psychologist credentials and certification for Rhode Island
• Previous experience working with elementary and middle school populations preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to develop and interpret educational and psychological evaluations
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students referred by teachers, administrators, or parents
• Deliver direct services, including individual and group counseling, to address academic, social, emotional, or behavioral needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies and recommend educational placements or services
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expertise on behavioral support, intervention planning, and effective student support strategies
• Promote positive school climates and facilitate early intervention at both the classroom and individual levels
