ABOUT THE ROLE
Under general supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager and following policies and procedures, supports the Human Resources Department with aspects of the recruitment and onboarding program. The position will support the recruitment process including but not limited to screening, interview coordination, and data management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Gains knowledge and experience of Talent Acquisition's recruiting process and creates a best-in-class candidate experience.Supports the screening and selection of resumes for open roles in the retail and corporate sectors.Maintains and updates candidate information within our applicant tracking system (Applicant Pro)Schedules interviews with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers.Performs maintenance of the applicant tracking system to include updating job postings.Communicates with candidates on the status of their candidacy.Supports the growth and development of talent pipelines, attend outreach events, and university recruiting fairs.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies as it relates to the recruiting function.Represents the Credit Union in local civic, community and professional organizations as requested.Supports other duties as directed by the Talent Acquisition Manager or other HR Management by virtue of cross‑training and providing back‑up support as needed.QUALIFICATIONS
EducationCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field required.
Experience / Skills / KnowledgeExceptional written and verbal communication skills required with the ability to conduct interviews when necessary.Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills required.Demonstrated knowledge of laws and regulations impacting the hiring/recruiting function preferred.Ability to handle multiple projects/priorities simultaneously with an effective outcome required.Must have the ability to deal with highly confidential information.Must possess strong service orientation skills in alignment with the Credit Union's mission and core values.Prior experience in recruitment, including conducting behavioral‑based interviewing is a plus.Prior experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting preferred.Prior experience working within an Applicant Tracking System and/or CRM system (i.e., Applicant Pro, Linked In Recruiter, and other talent acquisition tools)Must be PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft 365, Databases, CRM, and ATS systemsBENEFITS
