A-Line Staffing is now hiring Technical Support Call Center Representative in Smithfield, RI
. The Technical Support Call Center Representative would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.
- The pay for this position is $17.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, flexible 8-hour shifts that may change to support day/night projects and multiple time zones. Paid training is onsite and scheduled between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting support to field technicians, vendors, and contractors completing in-store technology installations and upgrades
- Answer inbound calls through a queue and place outbound calls as needed
- Document calls, update tracking applications, and complete system validations
- Send project updates through email and Excel when not actively on calls
- Support multiple technology rollout projects simultaneously
- Ensure project implementation protocols are followed during live deployments
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience required
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Schedule flexibility to support projects in different time zones and occasional evening/night work
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- IT hardware installation experience preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in technical support, help desk, or technology deployment environments preferred
