We are seeking a Systems Analyst to support data platform initiatives by analyzing business requirements, performing data analysis, and contributing to the modernization of enterprise data systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Perform data analysis, data mapping, and workflow documentation
- Analyze existing systems and support modernization of data platforms
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams
- Support ETL processes and data validation activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog refinement
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet requirements
- Create and maintain documentation including use cases, process flows, and technical specifications
- Communicate insights and findings effectively to business and technical stakeholders
- 10+ years of experience in systems analysis and data analysis
- Strong experience with requirement gathering, data mapping, and documentation
- Strong SQL and/or Python skills for data analysis and validation
- Experience working with ETL processes and data pipelines
- Strong understanding of database design concepts
- Experience with database platforms such as Oracle, Snowflake, and AWS S3
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Experience working on enterprise data platform modernization initiatives
- Experience working across multiple teams in large-scale environments
