About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Operations Intern to join our team for the summer internship program. This internship offers hands-on exposure to supply chain strategy, operational efficiency, logistics coordination, and manufacturing support within the medical device industry.

The Supply Chain & Operations Intern will work closely with the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering teams to support initiatives focused on improving workflows, optimizing product flow, and enhancing operational performance throughout the organization. This role is ideal for a candidate interested in operations management, logistics, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist the Supply Chain and Operations teams with analyzing and improving operational workflows and product movement throughout the facility.
  • Support projects focused on logistics costing, operational efficiency, and process optimization.
  • Participate in operational data collection, reporting, and analysis to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with inventory tracking, material flow analysis, and operational planning activities.
  • Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and process maps.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve workflow, organization, and operational performance.
  • Gain exposure to real-world supply chain strategy, logistics coordination, and manufacturing operations within the medical device industry.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in supply chain, operations, logistics, manufacturing, or process improvement.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with data, processes, and operational workflows.
  • Ability to analyze information and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools is a plus.
  • Exposure to operations research, process optimization, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement concepts is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
