Cabinet Assembler

Location:

Smithfield, RI.

Pay: $20 - $28 per hour.

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Job Summary:

Staffmark has a full-time opportunity for a Cabinet Assembler. Get on board immediately with our premier client and get your career moving.

• Assemble cabinets and casework per blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Inspect parts for proper fit and quality throughout the build process.
• Install hardware, sand surfaces, apply edge banding, and perform finishing tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with production leads and team members to meet deadlines.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or similar assembly work strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Skilled with hand and power tools (drills, nail guns, screw guns, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

(Not required - we’re willing to train the right candidate)

• Experience with CNC or edge banding equipment.
• Knowledge of wood types, cabinetry materials, and finishes.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices.
