Part Time Support Lead - Smithfield, RI

Overview

We are seeking a Store Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, and support team development.

• Ensure all crew members provide WOW customer service and training on B.E.S.T. experience.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates, monitoring performance and service quality.
• Coordinate receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for efficient placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required, handling store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash security, lock‑down, alarm settings, and overall readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates, covering store policies, product knowledge, and operating procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on merchandising procedures and store recovery.
• Perform general store maintenance: garbage disposal, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and stock room upkeep.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and maintain composure under pressure.
• Creative thinking and problem‑solving skills.

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place or remove items up to 5–10 feet in height.
• Ascend and descend ladders to retrieve and store stock.
• Adopt kneeling, bending, twisting, and stooping positions, particularly in the stock room and sales floor.
• Communicate accurately with customers via phone and in‑store dialogue, and with managers and coworkers.
• Assist customers across the sales floor and from or to the stock room.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as needed.
• Interpret email and print instructions for merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and operating procedures.
• Maintain an upright stationary position for 80% of the time.
