Overview
CAM HVAC & Construction, a proud member of the Crete United family, is seeking an HVAC Tech to service commercial and public-sector projects in Rhode Island. With a legacy of quality and service since 1974, CAM brings unmatched capabilities—including an in-house sheet metal shop—to every job. This is a full-time year-round permanent position and pays up to $40 per hour plus excellent benefits.
Location:
Smithfield, RI. Service area: RI and Southern MA. RF 1 Or 2 License Required.
- Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and public sector customers. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
- Maintain the company vehicle in good working order, including refueling as necessary.
- Report any mechanical issues and fill out and submit monthly vehicle inspection forms. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience.
- RI and MA licensing preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Valid EPA Certificate
- Ability to pass background check
