Electrician; Licensed

Overview

Bryant University seeks an experienced electrician to join the Facilities Department. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

• Perform maintenance, repair, and operation of the electrical distribution systems throughout the campus.
• Maintain, install, and repair mechanically or electrically powered equipment and lighting.
• Work with all voltage distribution systems including low voltage and electronic equipment.
• Support sound transmission equipment, computer systems and accessories, and other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the electrical trade.
• Valid Electrician’s License (Journeyman) from the State of Rhode Island.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (stooping, bending, kneeling, standing, and stretching for extended periods).
• Ability to work on or from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms; ability to lift, carry, and position equipment (physical strength required).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Subject to pre-employment physical examination, criminal background check, and Division of Motor Vehicles check.
