School Psychologist in Smithfield, RI

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital psychological services to middle and high school students in a dynamic educational environment near Smithfield, RI. This position offers the chance to support student wellness and academic achievement within a collaborative setting, starting August 24th, 2026, and continuing through June 17th, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Must hold valid RIDE certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with middle and high school populations preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and culturally responsive services
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing school needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver counseling services and crisis interventions to students as needed
• Consult with staff, families, and stakeholders to support student progress
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development

This contract position features:

• 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Pay ranging from $50 to $55 per hour, with weekly direct deposit
