Title: Fullstack Developer

Location: Westlake, Texas/Smithfield, RI (Hybrid)

As a member of Client's Workplace Solutions (WS) Digital Platforms Technology team, you will be responsible for delivering new products and services using hybrid technology stack Angular, Java and Spring. Serving as a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in the team and work closely with the Engineering Lead, Principal Engineers, Systems Analyst, QA, Architects and other Developers.

You will help to craft, build, test, and deliver the features that make up Client's Digital experiences.

• 8+ years of software development experience using Java, Spring, middle tier RESTful services
• 8+ years of client‑side language, library, and framework proficiency in Angular, JavaScript/Type Script, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS
• Experience applying AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate legacy system analysis and modernization
• Experience working with and maintaining legacy Java frameworks such as Apache Struts 1.x, including Action Forms, Actions, and Struts configuration
• Proven ability to analyze, understand, and reverse engineer complex legacy codebases with limited or outdated documentation
• Strong experience refactoring and modernizing legacy applications while preserving business functionality
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues, with ability to trace end‑to‑end request flows across UI, middleware, and backend systems
• Proven experience with incremental modernization approaches (phased migration) to safely transition legacy applications to modern architectures
• Experience working with and navigating large, complex monolithic codebases, including tightly coupled, multi‑module enterprise systems
• Ability to perform complex technical and functional analysis, including dependency tracing and impact analysis across systems
• Experience documenting and communicating system behavior derived from reverse engineering efforts
• Proactively identifies risks, technical debt, and potential issues during development
• Experience integrating with APIs with a strong understanding of RESTful web services
• Strong experience with automation tools/frameworks
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Git Hub, Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy; deploying applications in a Dev Ops environment
• Experience working with cloud services (Microsoft Azure or AWS/EKS)
• Experienced with secure coding standards and practices
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Knowledge of architecture and design patterns to build highly scalable and resilient systems

• At Client, most people work flexibly with a hybrid schedule that balances personal and business needs. Associates are required to work onsite at a Client location for at least one week, all business days, every four weeks.
