The candidate will report to the Inventory Manager and perform a range of duties related to inventory control and all aspects of inventory management.
Major Duties And Responsibilities- Ensure all inventory counts are performed in a timely manner, using either weight counts or scanning of every carton.
- Ensure that every soft location is clearly counted, marked, and scanned; perform weight count of each bin and overstock, and log all errors with item, location and count.
- Ensure that every hard location is clearly counted and scanned; scan every carton and location, log errors with item, location and container number, enter all inventory movement transactions in the system, and communicate status to the Inventory Manager.
- Assist with the cycle count process, including data entry, verification, and third‑party return of inventory goods.
- Contribute to the corporate goal of 95% accuracy.
- Assist with any other warehouse‑related functions as required.
- Complete three full counts of all locations in a fiscal year, which may include travel to third‑party local locations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in an inventory control position.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lb; heavier loads may require machinery or assistance.
- Ability to operate an order picker and a turret truck (high‑bay locations only).
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliability in arriving on time for scheduled work hours, with willingness to adjust schedules as needed.
- Capacity to stand for up to eight hours, which may involve bending, kneeling, or sitting.
- General knowledge of inventory control practices.
- Proficiency in the M3 operating system and use of tablets.
- Reading and writing proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Basic math skills.
- Timely decision‑making under pressure and with incomplete information.
- Strong priority setting, focusing on critical tasks and eliminating roadblocks.
- Organizing skills, coordinating resources efficiently and arranging information effectively.
29.87 per hour.
