Job SummaryResponsible for executing the production plan within the Visual ERP system by aligning demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity to ensure reliable delivery commitments and operational efficiency. Success in this role is defined by disciplined use of the ERP system—executing within standardized processes, maintaining data integrity, and relying on system outputs rather than manual workarounds to drive decisions. This role is critical to maintaining schedule integrity and supporting on‑time delivery (OTIF) performance by utilizing Visual ERP as the single source of truth for production schedules and customer commitments.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Execute daily production planning and scheduling activities within Visual ERP
- Convert customer demand and forecasts into executable work orders
- Align production schedules with available capacity, material readiness, and lead times
- Maintain accurate production schedules across all work centers
- Utilize Visual ERP as the sole commitment signal
- Monitor order status and proactively manage risks
- Align work orders with execution priorities
- Validate planning data including lead times, routings, and capacity
- Identify discrepancies and partner with Business Systems Analyst
- Minimize manual overrides and correct root causes
- Partner with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Customer Service
- Ensure alignment to one production plan
- Support planning accuracy and lead time improvements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain or related field.
- 1–3 years experience in production planning or scheduling.
- ERP experience required, Visual preferred.
- Understanding of MRP, BOMs, and scheduling concepts
- Proficiency in ERP and Excel
