Delivery Driver; S. Main

Job Requirements & Duties

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product according to company standards.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Complete orientation and training on the job.

• Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Demonstrate motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and precise movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate a map, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product.
• Stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and climb as required; standing is the primary position.
• Lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs, 3 × 1.5 ft dimensions) with a hand truck.
• Carry and push trays and other loads up to 12 lbs and up to 30 lbs respectively.
• Climb stairs or ladders to perform maintenance tasks.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 36 °F in the cooler to 90 °F+ in certain areas.
• Exposed to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500 °F).

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
• Strong navigational skills and ability to read maps.
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and telephone.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer or touch screen.
