Role Overview

Our Supply Chain team seeks driven professionals to ensure high‑quality products reach customers seamlessly. As a Supply Planner, you will play a key role in master production scheduling, overseeing finished goods, work‑in‑process inventory, excess stock and obsolete inventory to align supply with demand. You will drive strategic decisions that minimize distressed product risks while maintaining seamless inventory flow and optimize stock levels across the production and distribution network.

What

You’ll Do
  • Demand and Inventory Planning:
    Create finished goods based on the Consensus Demand Plan, establish critical inventory parameters for Target & Safety Stock settings, anticipate material shortages and develop action items to mitigate risks, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
  • Collaboration and Process Optimization:
    Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align inventory management with operational constraints and overall business strategy, resolve finished goods issues and analyze consumption patterns, and marshal resources to address supply challenges.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting:
    Measure, analyze, and report key process metrics, oversee long‑term capacity status, manage weekly category KPI updates, track product shortages, and facilitate daily information flow among supply planning partners.
  • Key Metrics Accountability:
    Monitor and optimize Case Fill Rate %, reduce Distress to Sales Ratio, manage Working Capital/Days on Hand Inventory, oversee Stock Transfer Order Utilization, and conduct Pre‑build Monitoring for production and storage.
What We’re Seeking
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
  • Work experience in a team‑based environment within manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Experience with SAP and its related supply chain applications.
  • Proficiency using PC‑based technology (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Access).
  • Strong technical skills around data management, analytics, data processing and problem solving.
  • Well organized with strong attention to details.
  • Strong mathematical/statistical abilities.
  • Hands‑on experience with modeling, analysis & simulation tools.
  • Proven ability to build working business relationships.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and hands‑on experience working with multiple partners to resolve exceptions and negotiate best alternatives in meeting service level goals.
  • Able to provide data to support & explain reasoning for decisions.
  • Works well under pressure with limited supervision and can meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform in a command‑and‑control role and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
  • Up to 10% travel is required.
Other Skills That Make You Stand Out
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification, a plus.
  • Experience with advance planning systems (Logility/JDA/APO/Anaplan, etc.) preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Capable of sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • Able to travel as needed.
