Enterprise Food Manufacturer is looking for a Senior Manager to manage its trade platform, oversee financial aspects of trade operations, and ensure smooth operation of food service and distributor relationships.
Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year
Job DetailsWe seek a dynamic, results‑oriented leader to drive the growth of our food service operations, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless trade execution.
Responsibilities- Lead the Trade Management team to ensure efficient execution of our trade strategy, including management of debits and credits.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize our trade platform, using tools such as SAP, Telus, and Blacksmith.
- Work closely with distributors to deliver high quality service and meet their needs.
- Oversee financial operations related to trade, including management of debits and credits.
- Drive the growth of food service operations, identifying new opportunities and implementing strategies to capitalize on them.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and adjust strategy to ensure continued growth and success.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of trade operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade management, specifically in the food service sector of the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience managing distributor relationships.
- Strong knowledge of trade platform management tools, including SAP, Telus, and Blacksmith.
- Solid experience in financial management, particularly in handling debits and credits.
- Extensive knowledge of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with proven ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
