What You'll Do

Lead and Develop People

  • Foster an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Coach, mentor, and support nursing leaders and frontline caregivers.
  • Set clear expectations while helping team members succeed and grow.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop talented nursing professionals.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and excellence.

Ensure Outstanding Resident Care

  • Oversee nursing services to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation, social services, activities, dietary, pharmacy, physicians, and other disciplines to meet resident needs.
  • Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and maintained to support positive resident outcomes.
  • Partner with physicians and clinical teams to continuously improve quality and service.

Support Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing and clinical competencies.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote best practices.
  • Champion resident and employee safety programs.
  • Coordinate care across the continuum to support seamless resident experiences.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of two years of Senior Living or Long-Term Care experience
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • CPR/BLS Certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Progressive nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living settings
