Service Technician​/Maintenance Technician in Smithfield

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Technician to join our team at Bradford Mews Apartments in Smithfield, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance operations, ensuring the highest standards of property care and resident satisfaction.

• Maintain clean, safe, and debris‑free community grounds, addressing weather‑related issues.
• Perform proactive repairs and respond to maintenance requests.
• Conduct daily inspections and troubleshoot appliances or technical issues.
• Participate in maintenance projects and after‑hours emergency work.
• Complete other duties as assigned or requested.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• HVAC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for daily on‑site use.
• Minimum of 18 months experience in apartment maintenance.
• CFC Type II or Universal Certification and heat pump experience.
• Must be available for after‑hours emergency maintenance calls, including nights and weekends.
• Basic computer skills required.
