Southern Power seeks an Operations Technician for Plant Franklin to operate and maintain three 2-on-1 combined cycle units on a 24/7 basis. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment using a computerized work order system (Maximo) and related programs.
The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to work under pressure, communicate clearly, and support a 24/7 schedule including holidays.
