Sr Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll take ownership of the hardware design and development of embedded electronic products-from concepts through production. You'll lead electrical architecture decisions, oversee PCB development, and provide sustaining engineering support for mature products. This is a technical role for someone passionate about building reliable, field-ready products.

Summary
Design and develop embedded electronic systems for products such as electric water cannons, vehicle lighting, pressure governors, sensors, and control modules
Drive hardware development, including schematic design, PCB layout functional and system level testing
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, manufacturing engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions
Designs and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment
Determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products
Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements
Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and systems in field installations
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Creates project timelines based on product specifications and manages projects to meeting commitments
Provide technical support and guidance on determining root cause analysis of legacy products
Interface with engineering team and vendors to implement new and modified design
Provide frequent progress updates to manager to ensure the efficient and timely completion of specific project milestones
