Description:
We are seeking a registered nurse for night shifts in the critical care unit.
The candidate should have experience managing high acuity patients.
The patient-to-nurse ratio during nights is 1:4-5.
Daily census typically reaches around 180 patients.
The unit manages a variety of patient diagnoses, including sepsis, stroke, myocardial infarction, and pneumonia.
A collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams, such as IV teams, respiratory services, and social services, is essential.
The role may involve administering moderate sedation and managing ventilators.
Candidates must provide two supervisory clinical references upon application.
This position requires compliance with facility protocols and procedures.
Candidates should be prepared for a comprehensive orientation process.
