Plumbing Mechanic (New Construction)

Seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic to install complete plumbing systems on large residential construction projects. Responsibilities include rough-in and finish work, piping installation, fixture installation, and system testing.

• Install PEX, PVC, copper, gas, waste, vent, and sanitary systems
• Complete rough-in and finish plumbing
• Install sinks, showers, bathtubs, drains, and fixtures
• Read blueprints and perform accurate system layouts
• Fit, solder, and assemble piping
• Test systems and ensure code compliance
• Coordinate with other trades and maintain a safe worksite

• 10+ years of plumbing experience
• Strong rough-in and finish plumbing background
• Experience with PEX, PVC, copper, and gas piping
• Ability to read blueprints and plumbing drawings
• Skilled in pipe fitting, soldering, and brazing
• Experience on multi-family, residential, or commercial projects

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smithtown, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
