This travel opportunity for a full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) offers professional engagement from mid‑August through the end of May, with an optional summer school assignment in June. Located in Smithville, MO, this role is designed for an SLP with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school‑based experience, serving a student population with diverse speech and language needs.
Key Qualifications- Certified SLP with CCC credential
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Knowledge of AAC devices and RtI frameworks
- Skilled in assessment, IEP development, and speech/language therapy
Provide therapy to approximately 40 students experiencing speech and language delays. The role involves administering evaluations, contributing to evaluation reports, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and actively participating in meetings. The caseload may include students utilizing AAC devices, requiring tailored communication approaches.
Work Schedule And Environment- Full‑time position
- Hours are 8:20 AM to 3:50 PM, Monday through Friday
- Worksite is within a school environment in Smithville, MO
- Role involves travel to the location
