Description
Responsible for the spot welding of various parts according to engineering specifications and ensuring that all necessary parts are accounted for and properly staged for the next operation.
- Operate different spot welding machines, including stud welding machines.
- Read work orders and prints.
- Maintain proper housekeeping of the work center.
- Maintain the proper condition of equipment.
- Perform quality checks and appearance checks of finished units or parts.
- Ensure all test procedures are performed and parts are made properly according to engineering requirements.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Ability to utilize computers/bar coding to track parts, routings, job orders, pick lists, employee labor, and attendance, etc.
