ResponsibilitiesAs the Divisional Reinsurance Executive (DRE) you will report to the East Division Vice President for Zurich Direct Markets and manage a substantial book of business. You will work closely with Regional F&I Managers and Finance & Insurance Executives to execute proven sales and service strategy initiatives for the East Division. Your duties include driving new business, maintaining high‑profile relationships, developing strategic external relationships, implementing strategic and tactical objectives, analyzing and providing strategic direction to field sales teams, representing Zurich in leadership and industry meetings, overseeing cross‑team sales initiatives, and maintaining responsibility for customer issues and challenges.
Additional leadership activities may include planning, budgeting, coaching, and leading by influence.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience focused on Sales, F&I, Reinsurance, Operations, or Accounting.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of related experience focused on Sales, F&I, Reinsurance, Operations, or Accounting.
- Experience managing product knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment within your area of responsibility.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Experience analyzing financial results.
- NOTE:
This position is virtual and can be located anywhere in the East Division. - Candidate should have access to a large airport for efficient travel.
- Recent documented success in new business acquisition and consistent goal achievement.
- Experience in the financial services sector or a CPA.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Thorough understanding of captive insurance principles (AIC or CPCU preferred).
- Knowledge of company-approved software, business system, and reporting applications.
- Leadership experience managing teams or cross‑functional projects.
- Broad knowledge of automotive segment customers’ business and operations with the ability to forge and build relationships.
Proposed base salary range: $74,300 to $121,700, with variable compensation based on performance. Benefits include competitive pay, bonuses, merit increases, and comprehensive benefits for employees and families.
