Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' communication development across ages from kindergarten through 22 years old. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a skilled SLP (CCC or CFY) eager to join a dedicated school-based team. With a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse needs, including those with moderate to severe disabilities.

Bring your expertise to a dynamic educational environment where you'll contribute to comprehensive speech-language therapy services and collaborate closely with colleagues and families. This position offers a consistent schedule, opportunities to grow professionally, and the chance to support students in achieving their communication and academic goals.

Role Highlights:
  • Collaborate in planning and implementing speech-language therapy for students aged 2 to 22 years
  • Address a variety of needs: assistive technology, augmentative communication, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, social language, and language delays
  • Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments, providing clear and insightful reports
  • Develop and monitor IEP objectives, supporting students' continued growth
  • Partner with parents and staff to discuss progress and create effective strategies
  • Work flexibly and creatively, supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities
Who We're Looking For:
  • Hold or be eligible for a Delaware state SLP license (CFY applicants welcomed!)
  • Experience with moderate to severe disabilities is a plus
  • Strong communicator with collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Flexible, approachable, and eager to work in a multidisciplinary setting
