Job Description & How to Apply Below

We're partnered with a well-established commercial real estate firm — specialists in life sciences, healthcare, and higher education assets — to find someone who can operate across two worlds
: the sharp execution of capital projects and the creative, strategic thinking that comes with acquiring and repositioning complex properties.

If you've ever walked a derelict building and immediately started mapping its potential — this role was built for you.

The Company
  • A leading CRE advisory, development & management firm with 4.5M+ sq ft under management
  • Known for transforming large, technically complex campuses into world-class innovation hubs
  • Active portfolio spanning life sciences, healthcare, and higher education — with more acquisitions in the pipeline
What the Role Actually Looks Like

This is a two-part role — and both parts matter equally.

Capital Projects Side
  • Owning complex infrastructure projects from design through to closeout
  • Managing MEP-heavy fit‑outs, lab upgrades, and building system improvements
  • Keeping contractors, consultants, and vendors aligned and accountable
  • Handling all the project admin — RFIs, submittals, change orders, budgets
  • Ensuring safety, compliance, and quality hit the mark every time
Development Side
  • Getting involved early when a new building or campus is being evaluated
  • Walking sites and assessing technical feasibility — what's possible, what it'll take, what it could become
  • Contributing engineering and infrastructure insight to the development vision
  • Helping shape adaptive reuse strategies for technically complex assets (think former R&D campuses, lab buildings, legacy industrial facilities)
  • Bridging the gap between "what this building is" and "what it could be"
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 5–10+ years across capital projects, facilities engineering, or development
  • Experience in life sciences, lab, healthcare, or mission‑critical environments — strongly preferred
  • Solid MEP knowledge — you need to understand what's in the walls and what it means for a building's future
  • Comfortable working in occupied, live facilities as well as early‑stage development scenarios
  • Someone who can think technically and strategically — rare, but that's the brief
  • Proficiency in Excel;
    Banner/Yardi experience a plus
Why It's Worth Your Attention
  • You're not just managing projects — you're helping shape what buildings become
  • A growing, acquisitive business with a strong pipeline of complex assets
  • Greater Philadelphia base with a genuinely impressive portfolio behind them
  • A seat at the table, not just in the trenches
