Responsibilities

Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assistant Position Summary

The RT/MA performs radiographic procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. The RT/MA assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and patients as assigned. The RT/MA will function in the Immediate Care Setting as both an RT and an MA, assisting providers with rooming patients and taking vitals, etc., as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
  • Must maintain Delaware State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Delaware, and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.
  • AHA BLS CPR certification required.

Experience

  • Previous medical office experience preferred.

Schedule

  • Rotational schedules (day and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed).
