Position: Sr. Desktop Support Specialist (hybrid) [82474]

The Sr. Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for delivering end-user technical support
, resolving desktop, hardware, software, and network issues
, and ensuring the reliability and performance of the overall desktop computing environment
. This role focuses on maintaining operational efficiency through effective troubleshooting, system maintenance, and service delivery aligned to SLAs
.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in desktop operating systems
    , hardware
    , software
    , and peripherals
  • Working knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Experience using desktop management tools
    , remote support tools
    , and ticketing systems
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality support delivery
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
    , or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support or technical support roles
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, applications, and peripherals
  • Manage and respond to support tickets and incidents in accordance with defined service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Perform software installations, updates, and patch management on desktop environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and resolutions within ticketing systems
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies
    , security standards
    , and regulatory requirements related to desktop support activities
