Branch Manager – Delaware

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the daily operations and overall success of our Delaware banking branch. This role is responsible for directing all operational activities in accordance with bank policies, delivering exceptional customer service, and guiding a high-performing branch team. You will manage procedures, train and coach staff, and collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure efficient and compliant branch operations.

Location:

Wilmington, DE. Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily branch operations in alignment with bank policies and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate the efficient delivery of deposit services for retail and corporate clients
  • Open and close deposit accounts in compliance with BSA/AML standards and other regulations
  • Support and execute initiatives aligned with the Bank’s strategic plan
  • Coach, mentor, and supervise tellers and new account personnel
  • Develop and implement training programs for all branch staff
  • Review, maintain, and enforce bank policies and procedures
  • Oversee and approve general ledger reconciliations related to cash and teller operations
  • Identify and investigate unusual or potentially fraudulent activity
  • Maintain proper dual control and conduct periodic surprise audits or reviews
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and staff performance evaluations
  • Support special projects as assigned by senior management
  • Uphold strong ethical and professional standards
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships and resolve issues effectively
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with and support other departments as needed
Qualifications
  • 3 to 7 years of banking supervisory or management experience
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong decision-making skills and accountability
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
