Machine Operator / Metal Finisher

We're looking for a Machine Operator / Metal Finisher for one of our clients. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, enjoys hands-on tasks, and thrives in a manufacturing environment. You'll operate metal-processing equipment, perform finishing tasks, and ensure all parts meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate metal fabrication and finishing equipment, including grinders, sanders, polishers, and CNC or manual machinery
• Perform deburring, sanding, polishing, and surface finishing on metal components
• Inspect parts for accuracy, defects, and quality compliance
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, work orders, and production specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and report equipment issues promptly
• Assist with material handling and workflow as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in metal finishing, machining, or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
